FELT MAKING DAY   Have you ever fancied trying the ancient craft of felt making? We offer you the opportunity to learn how to 'wet felt' using fleeces from our own flock of sheep. This is a very hands-on course so be prepared to get messy and don't turn up in your Sunday best!

On the day I will start with teaching you just a few very basic techniques before moving on to make your own felted item to take home with you. In a day you should have tiime to make a table runner, one piece no sew bag, or a small wall hanging. All materials will be provided including refreshments throughout the day and a light lunch. If you have any wool that you would like to incorporate into your designs then please bring them along. I recommend you bring a small old towel as water is involved for much of the day and you will need to keep drying your hands, also feel free to bring an apron and rubber gloves should you wish to use them. If you have previously done some wet felting and would like to know more then tuition is available on the day to have a go at needle felting too.

The course runs from 10am and finishes at 4pm & refreshments and light lunch is included

COST PER PERSON £65
